Forced Entry - As Above, So Below

Damn, feeling old here! Seattle, WA's Forced Entry were probably one of the better also rans in the over saturated tail end of the thrash explosion in the late 80s to early 90s. With a sound that I can only describe as Testament on caffeine mixed with the guitar histrionics of Zakk Wylde, Forced Entry added a unique twist on what was quickly becoming a stale formula. Excellent leads, unique song structures and above average intelligent lyrics (except for the D*cks song). Standouts included the catchy Macrocosm, Microcosm (think Symphony of Destruction, but done right and done heavy) and the wrenching and unique power ballad Never a Know, but a No (clever title as well). I keep using unique because this band definetly had their own sound. Unfortunatly this (their second over all) record was the last that was heard. A great find on ebay if you can find one, and one of the better second (or third tier, but whose keeping track) thrash bands.
